Workshop on Dalits rights

Addressing a press meet here on Thursday, he said the workshop will be inaugurated by CPM senior leader K R Sriyan.

Maruthi Manpade will be the chief guest.
He said various facilities under government’s special project have not been implemented.

The reserve fund meant for the development of Dalits in MCC, TMC and panchayat limits are not fully utilised. Crores of money meant for the economic development of Dalits are diverted and used for other purposes, he alleged.

CPM state leaders G N Nagaraj, Maruthi Manpade, Krishnappa Konchadi will be the resource persons.
