The filmmaker who is returning to comedy with 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani', 15 years after his laugh riot 'Andaz Apna Apna' created box office history, said that humour is not the forte of all actors.

"An actor who does a comedy successfully, can sleepwalk through any other role. For comedy, one needs to be very strong in emoting and using facial expression," Santoshi told reporters during the music launch of the movie.

'Ajab...' stars current national heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor opposite actress Katrina Kaif and the director feels that the two are a perfect comic pair comparing them to Laurel and Hardy. "In many ways, characters of Ranbir and Katrina, who play Prem and Jennifer, can be compared to Laurel and Hardy," said Santoshi.

Among other attractions of the movie is a cameo by Salman Khan, whose off-screen relationship with Katrina provides fodder to rumour mills. "Ranbir fits the bill in the movie and has done justice to the character. He is a fantastic actor and one of the finest actors in Indian cinema today," he said.
