A builder was killed when he accidentally fell from a moving train, at Pangala in Kaup police station limits, on Monday morning.
According to the police, the deceased is Manmohan Malli (50). He was returning from Goa when the accident occured.
He along with his friends Chittaranjan Shetty and K T Shetty were travelling on the train. Both his friends were in deep sleep when the accident occurred.
The body was found on the railway track at Pangala-Innanje. The police have recovered Rs 12,000 and a mobilephone from his pocket.
It was through the mobile phone, the police could identity the body.
