KPCC president G Parameshwara said on Monday that his party too agreed that the order of the Cauvery River Authority (CRA) to the State to release water to Tamil Nadu suffered from inadequacies.

The order of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who is also the CRA chairperson, could be interpreted in many ways, he said.

He was talking to mediapersons after his visit to the city to inspect the arrangements made for the arrival of AICC chief Sonia Gandhi in Mangalore, on Monday.

He announced that the KPCC will form a study-cum-research team to analyse the Cauvery issue, the report of which will be submitted to both the Central and the State governments.
