Three arrested for attacking N-E people

The police arrested three men for assaulting a group of north-easterns at Anjaneya Block in Seshadripuram on Wednesday night.

Noorulla Farman Ali and his three friends lived in a rented house at Anjaneya Block. All natives of Assam, the four men worked as security guards at Mantri Mall.

On Wednesday night, a gang of three men barged into their house and assaulted them. The gang also robbed them of a mobile phone and Rs 1,500 in  cash.

After Noorulla Farman Ali lodged a complaint with Seshadripuram police station, officers arrested Santosh, an auto driver, Karan Kumar and Manjunath from the same area.
