They said, “The hostel situated at Ramanahalli is a mess. As many as 120 students reside in the hostel. The hostel has only three toilets and only one are cleaned. Though students are ready to pay and get cleaned, due to the shortage of water, it can not be undertaken.”
In a memorandum submitted to Additional DC, the students said, “The roof of the hostel building is in dilapidated condition. A borewell which was dug in the premises have become defunct. As a result, we have to depend on water supplied by the CMC. Apart from a guard, the hostel does not have any other staff. There are no proper vessels to cook food in the hostel. Students themselves have to appoint a cook.” They urged the authorities concerned to appoint a cook.
