A 40-year-old woman reportedly died of a heart attack here after she got stuck between a truck and a wall on Monday night. The vehicle had tilted towards the wall after its wheels fell into a pit.

The incident happened at Lal Kuan in Pul Prahladpur in south-east Delhi.
The victim, Jareena, lived with her husband Afsar Ali and kids at Lal Kaun. The couple had recently bought a residential plot near their rented accommodation.

On Monday afternoon, the couple went to Badarpur in a truck driven by her husband to buy building material to construct a house, aided by labourers.

When they reached the plot,  Jareena stepped down from the truck and went to its left side. She was helping her husband to get the truck parked at the right to dump construction material.

When Ali reversed the truck, its left wheels got stuck in a cemented pit and the truck tilted towards Jareena.

Seeing this, she ducked and the truck leaned into the  wall of a house.
Jareena was stuck between the wall and the truck and she could not drag herself out. Ali called the police control room for help.

“We reached the spot and within half-an-hour; she was pulled out in an unconscious state. She was rushed to All India Institute of Medical Sciences where doctors declared her brought dead,” said a police officer.

There were no injury marks on the body, and investigators and doctors suspect that she may have died of a heart attack.

“The exact cause of death will be known after the post-mortem. We have registered a case and are investigating the matter,” said the officer.
