Third accused in the complnt filed against DVS gets bail

Lokayukta Court here today granted bail to the third accused in the private complaint filed against former Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda and his wife Datty.

Judge N K Sudhindra Rao granted bail to N Ravi, directing him to furnish a personal bond of Rs two lakh and two sureties of the like sum each. He adjourned further hearing of the matter to December 3.

On Oct 12, the Lokayukta court allowing applications filed by Sadananda Gowda and his wife seeking exemption from personal appearance, issued Non Bailable Warrant against Ravi for not appearing before the court.

On September 25, the Lokayukta court ordered issue of summons to Gowda, his wife and Ravi in the complaint filed by Nagalakshmi Bai alleging illegal construction on government lands and allotment of site to them under discretionary quota when they already possessed land.
