JOIN USHearing the petition by Empire Group of Hotels, the division bench headed by Chief Justice P D Dinakaran has posted the matter for final hearing.
During the hearing, the counsel for the hotel sought to stay the order until then and said they are in the business for the last 20 years. However, the bench did not agree with it.
Direction to police
The High Court on Wednesday directed the Nelamangala police to maintain law and order around Jindal Aluminium Limited on Tumkur Road.
Hearing a petition by the company, which had moved the High Court over the State’s inaction against the Kannada Sene Karnataka (KSK) for allegedly threatening its employees, Justice Ajit Gunjal disposed of the petition after the Nelamangala police filed an affidavit assuring protection.
