<p>A 45-year-old man, who was absconding after allegedly hacking his wife to death on November 21 was arrested on Thursday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Koosegowda, son of late Ningegowda of Uttanahalli in the taluk, had married Puttathayamma (41), daughter of Mallaiah of Yandalli 21 years ago. <br /><br />A habitual drinker, Koosegowda was torturing his wife to hilt, ably supported by his mother and brother. <br /><br />On Wednesday, the trio allegedly hacked her to death. <br />SP R Dileep has congratulated the south police team for nabbing the accused swiftly, said a release.</p>
