'Bauddha Dharma Parivarthana Dina'

“There can be no future for the oppressed classes till they unite and wage a struggle to get political power into their hands,” said Bahujana Vidyarthi Sangha State Leader and Professor Rathnakar.

Addressing the ‘Bauddha Dharma Parivarthana Dina’ organised by Bahujana Vidyarthi Sangha at Mudigere on Thursday, Rathnakar said that but for the struggle of Dr Ambedkar, there would have been no provision of reservation for the Dalits in the Constitution.
The programme was inaugurated by Mudigere Boys’ College Principal Srinivasu. He said that Dr Ambedkar played pivotal role in the upliftment of the oppressed. He said that poor implementation of constitution is the main reason behind the increasing number of suppressed in the society.

The programme was presided over by Taluk B V S President Chandrashekar. District President Chidambar, Sringeri Taluk President Sandeep, Vice-President Asha and others were present.
