Workshop on governance, political economy at MYRA

 The MYRA School of Business will host a workshop on ‘Governance and Political Economy,’ at its campus on December 17 and 18.

The workshop is organised by Prof Amrita Dhillon, University of Warwick and Prof Shalini Urs, MYRA School of Business, and is held in association with the Department of Economics at the University of Warwick, UK and the Association for Public Economic Theory.

This workshop will bring together world renowned economists, political scientists, and policy makers from around the world to address some of the most pressing issues of our time – specifically political accountability, effective governance, and corruption.

Participants include pre-eminent scholars who hail from nine different countries (UK, USA, Italy, Germany, Spain, Canada, France, Australia, and India) and come from institutions such as UC Berkeley, Cornell University, Paris School of Economics, Michigan State University, Max Planck Institute of Economics, University of Cambridge, Columbia University, IIM–Bangalore, University of Frankfurt, Arizona State University, Indian School of Business, and New York University, said a release from the school.
