Three men were arrested for killing an advocate in his office at Vikas Marg on Thursday night over personal enmity, police said on Monday.

Mohammad Wasim, 22, of Muzaffarnagar in UP, Dharmender, 21, of Mewat in Haryana, and Vijay Singh, 21, of Rajender Park in Gurgaon were arrested in Kapashera of south-west Delhi on Sunday, said a police officer.

They told police that Wasim, who had completed an aeronautical maintenance engineering licence course, came to Delhi on October last year in search of a job. He had a dispute with lawyer Subhash Gupta, 57.

Gupta was found murdered in a semi-naked condition at his office by his relatives on Thursday. His hands and feet were tied and mouth gagged and his gold ring, mobile phone, wallet and gold chain were missing.

Investigations then revealed that the killers were known to the slain advocate as there was no sign of any forced entry into the office.

During investigation, police found that Wasim was in touch with Gupta before he was murdered. He was tracked down and was apprehended in Kapashera along with his partners in the crime.
