Patel stays AIFF chief

Praful Patel was unanimously chosen as the president of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) in the Annual General Meeting held here on Thursday.

The AGM and the elections were held in the presence of Radhica Sreeman, observer on behalf of the Government of India (also the Regional Director, SAI), PC Makholia, on behalf of the Sports Authority of India; Mun Si Song, representative Asian Football Confederation and Shaji Prabhakaran, FIFA Regional Developmental Officer, South.
Justice SK Agarwal, a retired judge of the Delhi High Court was the Returning Officer.
The office bearers: President: Praful Patel.

Vice-presidents: Shrinivas V Dempo (West), KMI Mather (South), Subrata Dutta (East), Subhash Chopra (North), Larsing Sawyan (North-East).
Treasurer: Hardev Jadeja.

Executive Committee members: Amit Ranjan Dev and Franco Miranda (West); AR Khaleel (South); Menla Ethenpa and Ghulam Rabbani (East); Sunil Bharadwaj and Md Shamsuddin (North); Ankur Datta and Ranjit Roy (North-East).
