Ahmedabad to host first Lanka Test from Nov 16

 
According to the itinerary of the 51-day tour released by the Lankan cricket board, the Sri Lankans will reach Mumbai on November 8 before leaving for Ahmedabad where they will play a three-day practice match against the Board President’s XI from November 11.

They stay put in Ahmedabad for the first Test starting on November 16 before travelling to Kanpur for the second Test from November 24.

They then move to Mumbai for the third Test from December 2 before playing two Twenty20 matches in Mohali (Dec 9) and Nagpur (Dec 12).

Itinerary: November 8: Sri Lankan team arrives at Mumbai, travels to Ahmedabad. Nov 11-13: Three-day match at Ahmedabad vs Board President’s XI. Nov 16-20: First Test in Ahmedabad. Nov 24-28: Second Test in Kanpur. December 2-6: Third Test in Mumbai. Dec 9: First Twenty20 in Mohali (D/N), Dec 12 : Second Twenty20 in Nagpur (D/N). Dec 15: First ODI in Rajkot. Dec 18: Seocond ODI in Vizag (D/N). Dec 21: Third ODI in Cuttack (D/N), Dec 24: Fourth ODI in Kolkata. Dec 27: Fifth ODI in Delhi (D/N). Dec 28: Team departs.
