Three end lives in separate incidents in City

Three people, including a homemaker and a KSRTC employee, committed suicide in the City on Thursday.

Bhanupriya, 24, hanged herself when she was alone at her house in Pulakeshinagar on Thursday. She was married to Srinivas, an employee at a television showroom in Koramangala. The couple had no children. Police said the couple had an argument over a trivial issue and Bhanupirya hanged herself with a saree. The incident came to light after her husband returned home.

In another incident, a KSRTC mechanic ended his life by consuming poison at his house in Vinayak Nagar, Wilson Garden.

Police said Suresh, 24, a native of Guttur village in Davangere taluk, had applied leave for three days. He consumed poison when he was alone at home. Unable to bear the pain, he rushed to a private hospital where he died later.

In a purported suicide note addressed to his wife, Suresh had said that no one was responsible for his death. His friends told police Suresh  had  taken the extreme step over love failure. 

Garment worker ends life

A garment factory worker allegedly hanged himself at his house in Yelahanka. Madhu, 22, a resident of Gandhinagar II Cross, committed suicide at his house. The body was discovered when his father Subramani returned home. 

“Troubles in his domestic life may have forced him to end his life,” police said.
