Raje to assume charge with Vastu help

Newly appointed state BJP president Vasundhara Raje does not want to take any chances, and seeks Vastu help before assuming charge. Raje, who has been camping in Delhi, is scheduled to reach Jaipur on Thursday.

According to party sources, a special room at the party office is being given a facelift according to the Vastu principles. Party sources said Raje will not use the room used by her predecessor Arun Chaturvedi and asked for the renovation of another room.

During her previous stint as party president, she used the same room. This had proved lucky and she developed an obsession of kind with the room. According to sources, she has even consulted some astrologers for the auspicious date and time for assuming charge.

As per their directions, she will take charge on February 8. Raje is a strong believer and her favourite deity is Tripura Sundhari temple at Banswara in south Rajasthan. Sources say that Raje has consulted the central party leaders for a total revamp of the party apparatus from state level to the district level.

She is likely to revamp the party leadership in state while striking a balance between the experienced people and young leaders.

Not much time is left before the Assembly elections and the party has given a free hand to her. The leaders in her camp are delighted as she never let her loyalists down.

Party leaders are leaving no stone unturned to make her homecoming a grand event. Her appointment as party president has charged up the party workers.

An over-enthusiastic leader said they have already won half the battle with her appointment. However, it is yet to be seen if the long factional fight preceding her appointment would be easily forgotten by her detractors.
