Man drowns in Malpe

A person died when he accidentally slipped and fell into sea while mounting the country craft in Malpe on Friday.

According to police, the deceased has been identified as Krishnappa Ameen. Police said he slipped and drowned when he was getting into the country craft to go for fishing. A case has been registered in Malpe police station.
 
Student drowns

A student of TAPMI at Manipal drowned in the sea at Kodibengre in Malpe on Friday.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Abhishek Dube, a MBA student from TAPMI.

He along with his friend Keshav Sunder had gone to the sea for swimming.
Dube drowned owing to strong sea current and all attempts to save him failed. He was declared dead in the hospital.
