The JD(S) students wing will hold a convention in Tumkur on March 2 and 3.
Addressing the media in Bangalore after a meeting, party spokesman Ramesh Babu said the government has failed to provide the required facilities to students.
The proposed convention will discuss the means of getting the facilities and also the ways of strengthening the party.
He said that in the recent years, students have lost the fighting spirit.
‘Fight for your dues’
Though they face many problems in school and college campuses, they do not raise their voice or fight for their rights.
The party is planning to create an awareness among the youth in this regard, Babu added.
