BU examination centres reduced to 148

This decision to reduce the number of centres is the latest in a series of examination reforms carried out by the university, which included the introduction of OMR sheets.

Addressing a meeting of all the Principals and Chief Superintendents of new examination centres, Vice Chancellor Dr N Prabhu Dev said that the latest step was taken to ensure transparency and credibility in the system. Further, a release from the university stated that all necessary arrangements had been made for the fool-proof despatch of question papers and answer scripts for November / December 2009 examination. These examinations too will feature OMR sheets for both theory and practical exams. The University will also launch a brand new state-of-the-art website.
