<p>Protesters, led by State JD(S) Women’s wing president N Jyoti Reddy took out a rally in front of the KSRTC office on Tuesday, to condemn the disrespect shown to a plaque unveiled for KSRTC bus stand in Gauribidanur in 1998. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The plaque was found displaced from its original place. <br /><br />Apparently enraged over it, Jyoti said, “Then Transport Minister PGR Sindhia had unveiled the plaque here and I was the Member of Legislative Assembly in 1998. But, renovation work on the bus stand is on since a few months. Amid this, the plaque has been thrown away.” <br /><br />Manager locked up<br /><br />The protesters locked up depot manager Suresh. <br /><br />The protesters demanded that the plaque be placed again in its place and threatened to intensify the protest, if their demand is not considered. <br /><br />Learning about the protest, the KSRTC officials visited the spot and promised to place the plaque in its original place. Later, the protesters withdrew the protest.<br /></p>
