Grievance meet: Complaints against Revenue Dept flow in

Lokayukta inspector A G Manjegowda warned the officers of the Revenue Department and Taluk Panchayat as more number of complaints are being registered against these departments by the public here.

He was addressing the public after receiving grievances by the public at the Taluk Panchayat auditorium in the town on Saturday.

Officials of various departments seem to be neglecting the grievances of the public, hence, they are approaching the Lokayukta. However, Manjegowda expressed his unhappiness over the complaints that are sub-judice.

Grievances will be not received for the next two months as the Election Code of Conduct is in place, said the Lokayukta Inspector.

Tahsildar S Shailaja, who assumed office of the Gudibande Taluk on Friday was present.
