Deputy Commissioner Dr N V Prasad has said that in the wake of Assembly elections, the model code of conduct is in force and all the development work which has not been initiated by various departments should implement it after the elections.
If the work were started before the announcement of the elections, then such work can be continued. Proposal for the development of work under MPLAD and MLALAD should not be submitted.
