Landslide claims life in Ujire

The deceased has been identified as Ashraf (25), a resident of Charmadi in the taluk. Ashraf had died on the spot as he was trapped when earth caved in. Another worker Abdul Karim, who was injured seriously has been admitted to a hospital in Mangalore while yet another labourer Hasainar has sustained minor injuries.

A case has been registered at the Belthangadi Police Station.
