Price rise was gift of the UPA govt, says Sushma Swaraj

The UPA government was responsible for rise in price of essential commodities, has alleged Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj.

Speaking at the BJP election campaign in Gonikoppa on Friday, she said that the UPA government is mired in corruption. It was involved in 2G spectrum and Coalgate scams.  A sum of Rs 1,76,000 crore has been misappropriated in 2G spectrum scam by the UPA government. Democratic values have been destroyed by the Centre. Not even one corruption related issue had cropped up during the NDA regime. There is no security for women in the country. Women are not in a position to move freely during day time, she said.
“Those who were the prime cause for infighting in our party have now left the party. Now, the BJP is clean,” she said and appealed to the party workers to bring back the BJP to power.
