Batting first, Vultures CC were all out for 169 in 47 overs with B Madan (58) and Rishi Bopanna (58) the top-scorers. Azharuddin (3/26), Kishan (3/47) and Madhu J (3/58) were among the wickets for Jawahars helping them restrict the opposition.
In reply, Jawahars were bowled out for 277 in 76.1 overs with Kishan’s 73 being the highlight of the innings. Sudheer Chauhan (51), Jayesh Babu (45) and Himadri (31) also chipped in with useful contributions to help Jawahars take a crucial 108-run first innings lead.
