"I accept the age that I am in but I really feel 25-26 except for the few physical injuries I have had. I truly don't remember how these 20 years have passed in Mumbai," 'King Khan' told reporters at his home 'Mannat' in Bandra. "Maybe I look old, maybe people think that I look older but actually the funny part is when I look nice they say I must have done plastic surgery and when I look bad they say I am over and done with," Khan joked.

The actor said that he is not aware whether his family has planned any major celebration for his birthday, adding that he will be ushering in the big day with a quiet dinner with family and friends. Khan, who made his acting debut in 1988 with the TV serial "Fauji" and later worked in Aziz Mirza's "Circus", moved to Mumbai in 1991. His debut movie in Bollywood was "Deewana" in 1992 along side Rishi Kapoor and Divya Bharti. The movie became a box office hit and announced Shah Rukh's arrival in Bollywood.

He counts his ability to make people laugh as his biggest achievement in the last 20-years of his career as an entertainer. "In the last 20 years, my highest achievements have been many. One of them is that I have been able to make many people smile without realising it at times," he said and thanked all those people with whom he has worked with.

Interestingly, Khan, who was last year promoting his film "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" on his birthday, took the opportunity to talk about his upcoming film "My Name Is Khan", which is releasing in February. Directed by Khan's friend Karan Johar, the film will see the actor uniting with Kajol onscreen after a gap of eight years. "As an actor I haven't done three films that I normally do. However, I have done just one 'Khan' but I truly believe that it is a nice film," the actor said, adding that his shoulder had put him down this year.

Apart from "My Name Is Khan", he is also planning to make a 'superhero' film. "I want to do a superhero film which I am designing," he said, adding he will be also working in Farah Khan's "Happy New Year" and Farhan Akhtar's "Don 2". Khan, who calls himself a 'workaholic' said that work has been his biggest relaxation. "I think of life as work. Lot of people will disagree with it as they think its more spiritual, you should relax but for me life is work."

A huge crowd had gathered outside Shah Rukh's bungalow to wish him on his birthday and superstar said that he felt the love of the people and felt grateful for their support. "I have had a marvelous life and I ask for health and happiness for my family including myself," the superstar said, adding that he wants to give back to the society by championing causes like environment and education.

"I will focus on education and awareness among the youth and also environment," he added. Asked about the gifts he received on his birthday, the actor joked that fans have purchased a place for him on the Moon and also in Scotland. "My daughter is making 'Angels on the Moon' for me. She told me the gift is currently under production and I can see it by Sunday. My wife has not gifted me anything as she says that she has nothing to give a man who has everything," he added.

Khan said acting had taken a backseat for him in the last one year because too much of physical involvement was not possible due to his injury. The actor underwent a surgery to repair a broken shoulder in February last. He said that the only advantage of his injury was that he got to spent more time with his children. "I spent lot of time with my children. It was also the time for introspection. This has been a good year emotionally and bad one physically," he added.
