<p>Sleuths from the Women and Narcotics Wing of the City Crime Branch raided a house in Annapoorneshwari Layout, J P Nagar 7th Phase and arrested two men on charges of running a prostitution racket. Two girls have also been arrested.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Sadashivaiah alias Raju, 27, a resident of Konanakunte Cross, and Krishna, 23, a resident of Kaggalipura, were running the prostitution racket with girls brought from West bengal and some north Indian states. <br /><br />The arrested girls hail from West Bengal. The police have recovered Rs 2,700 and five mobile phones. A case has been registered at Subramanyapura police station. <br /><br />2 held for selling gutka<br /><br />The CCB raided two shops in Rajaratnam Market and arrested two brothers running two shops for selling gutka. <br /><br />The arrested are Arun S N, 40 and S N Ananth, 50. They are residents of Basavanagudi. Police have seized 10,000 gutka packets of various brands worth Rs 16,000. <br /><br />A case has been registered at City Market police station.<br /><br /></p>
