Mindtree net up 52% in Q1

Mindtree on Thursday reported 51.8 per cent jump in net profit to Rs 135 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013 from Rs 89.2 crore in the same period last year.

Revenues of the company for the quarter under review stood at Rs 647.7 crore, which was 15 per cent more than the same period last year.

“We have delivered 15 consecutive quarters of revenue growth. This quarter’s performance continues that trend and encouraging both from  revenue and profitability perspective,” Mindtree CEO & MD Krishnakumar Natarajan said.

The company had 222 active customers as of June 30, 2013 with their $10 million customers growing to 10. It had 12,239 employees and added 1,057 employees during the quarter on a gross basis.
