Results of the second round of seat allotment for government quota seats in professional colleges will be published by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) by 10.30 am on Thursday.

The results were expected to be announced on Tuesday but postponed by two days giving students some more time to exercise their options. The seats considered for the second round were the surrendered seats, seats forfeited in the first round and those newly added to the seat matrix.
According to KEA officials, there is no proposal to conduct a third round as the deadline for admissions according to the Supreme Court order is July 31, 2013.
All candidates who have applied for the second round of counselling would have to report to colleges on or before July 29 by 4 pm, as per directions from the KEA. The officials have reminded the students to confirm their admissions in the college to KEA through the login account on its official website, after they secure admissions from the college. The seats will be cancelled, if the student fails to report to KEA, in spite of him/her having gone to the college in person to secure the admission order.
e-payment
Candidates would also have to make the e-payment now, if they had forfeited the seat in the first round and had not paid the fee at that time. For those who have already paid the fee in the first round and have retained the seats allotted in that round while waiting for the second allotment, earlier fee paid would be adjusted towards the seat chosen by them now.

Candidates allotted medical seats would have to submit a sworn e-affidavit on Rs 100 e-stamp paper along with their admission order, when they report to the colleges. Further details on the same can be obtained from the KEA website. The Examination Authority will also announce the cut-off rank on the website, after the seat allotment.
