A tough shot for the team

Rumour has it that Tanuj Virwani and Neha Hinge, the actors of Luv U Soniyo, had to take 36 re-takes for a lip-lock scene that barely lasted 20 seconds.

As part of the scene, a blanket had to fall off the pair and the cast and crew soon found out that this was easier said than done. Either the blanket fell off too early or too late and on one occasion, due to a power cut, the lights went off. However, they finally managed the perfect shot.

Joe Rajan, the director, says, “I cant imagine it took 36 re-takes to do that one small lip-lock scene. It wasn’t even Tanuj or Neha’s fault because they were doing their part perfectly — it was the timing of the blanket that wasn’t falling in place. Finally we got done!”
