Completely in the dark

Priyanka Chopra has a lot on her plate right now — not only is she flying high on the success of her last single ‘Exotic’, she has also bagged a truly spectacular role in a biopic based on the life of boxer Mary Kom. What’s more, Zanjeer — in which she will be seen sharing screen space with Southern star Ram Charan — is all set to hit the silver screen in a few days.

Recent reports suggested that the actress had another reason to rejoice. In fact, tinsel town was buzzing with the news that she had been approached for a role in the upcoming project ‘Milan Talkies’. However, Priyanka admits that she’s completely in the dark with regards to what’s happening in the film. It was said that the 31-year-old actress would be seen opposite Shahid Kapoor in the film, which will be directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and produced by Ekta Kapoor.

“I don’t know what is happening with ‘Milan Talkies’. I haven’t spoken to Ekta yet. Ekta and Tigmanshu discussed the script about a year and half back. After that, I don’t know what happened to the movie. I am yet to discuss with them about the film,” she confesses.

The actress is all geared up for the release of Zanjeer, a remake of mega star Amitabh Bachchan’s 1973 film of the same name. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film will release on September 6.
