No buses during peak hours

There are not enough buses from Marathalli to Shivajinagar (330 series) during peak hours.

This has resulted in hardship for officegoers.  Also, there are no direct buses from HAL to Ulsoor via Indiranagar 100 Feet Road/CMH Road.

The present G1 route buses can be diverted on 100 Feet Road up to Murugan Temple in Ulsoor instead of Trinity Circle.

Restore BMTC bus services

Ramamurthynagar and the surrounding area are very densely populated. The transport facility via Byappanahalli is very poor.

The residents have to change more than one bus to reach areas such as Majestic, City Market, Jayanagar etc.

Also buses on routes 315D, 313F plying on Ramamurthynagar-Kalkere Main Road  have been abruptly stopped.

It is causing a lot of hardship to schoolchildren, senior citizens and officegoers.
The services of bus number BC-12 which used to ply between Gaddalahalli and KR Puram have also been withdrawn.

I request the authorities to restore the services of these buses and introduce at least two sets of mini buses from Majestic to NRI Layout or TC Palya via Kalkere Main, Ramamurthynagar and Byappanahalli.

Ply Volvo buses to ITPL

The BMTC is requested to introduce Volvo Services from Shirke to ITPL through Hebbal plying through Mariyappanapalya,  Ullal, Ambedkar College, BDA Complex, Kottigepalya, Kanteerava Studio, Gorguntepalya, BEL Circle, Hebbal and KR Puram.

This will help people travelling to ITPL from Nagadevanahalli, Mariyappanapalya, Kottigepalya, Gorguntepalya and MES Road as there are no Volvo buses from these areas towards ITPL.

This will take less time as there are numerous flyovers already functional in this route. The new Volvo buses introduced from Shirke to ITPL ply through Banashankari and Silk Board. This bus takes minimum of two and half hours

This is the reason why people around Shirke do not prefer these buses.

Illegal drawal of water in KR Puram

The residents of 3rd Main, First Cross in KR Puram are not getting Cauvery water supply even after obtaining connections by paying necessary deposits. The water pressure is so low that water does not reach some houses. The problem is compounded with some residents drawing water using motors. The valvemen, when contacted, advised us to follow the same practice. Requests to BWSSB have been of no use. Will the authority concerned look into the matter?

Road not asphalted for 10 years

The 8th ‘A’ Cross in Pampa Extension, Kempapura, Hebbal, is a lane just 11 to 12 feet wide. Around 20 families have been residing here for the past 10 years and the road has not been asphalted till date. The stretch was dug up for laying UGD lines and thereafter metalling was done four years ago. However, the lane has not been asphalted in spite of repeated requests to the authorities concerned including the local corporator. Movement on this lane, either by foot, two-wheeler or car has become very difficult on account of the poor condition of the road. While several roads in the adjoining areas were asphalted recently, this stretch has been left out.

Due to continuous rain, the road has become very dangerous particularly for schoolchildren and senior citizens. In the absence of stormwater drains, the whole area gets flooded. Added to this, lot of snakes are seen moving in our area. There is also insufficient lighting during nights. It becomes worse during power cuts. The residents are living with constant fear of snake bites.

We request the authorities to kindly visit the area and take necessary action to asphalt the road.

Introduce BMTC buses

There are no direct BMTC buses from Vidyaranyapura to KR Market, and only a few operate to Shivajinagar. It would be very much useful for the residents if the services are introduced.

Restore sidewalk in AECS Layout

The sidewalk along the stretch between Kundalahalli Junction and Brookfields was dug up for laying cables, recently. Now the sidewalk is restored by covering mud and the broken tiles are not replaced. Instead, a stone and cement mixture's shallow spread is laid. Morning walkers and innumerable IT workers use this stretch regularly. The BBMP should restore the sidewalk at the earliest.

Irregular water supply

The residents of First Cross, Ramanjanappa Layout, A Narayanapura, are forced to buy water from private suppliers due to reluctance on the part of the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board. The valves are fitted scientifically and there was no proper supervision at the time of laying pipes.

At many places, in the layout, the water leaks from the pipes and is being contaminated.

Water supply to the area is irregular despite repeated complaints.
We hope the authorities concerned  will solve the problem at the earliest.

School compound turning urinal

A school and an eatery on the 19th Main Road in Rajajinagar First Block have been causing havoc in the area. The school compound has become a public toilet and it appears the authorities have not been bothered about it. Behind the school, people throw garbage at night which has become a breeding ground for mosquitoes. There any number of benches all along the school compound where hooligans sit all day and engage in eve teasing.

The eatery serves food on the road adding to traffic congestion on the stretch. The customers park their vehicles all along the road. The authorities concerned are requested to look into the problem.
