Man out on bail stabbed

A murder accused out on bail was assaulted by three men, near Vinayaka Theatre on Mysore Road on Friday night.

Feroze, 30, was arrested for murder of Sateesh, five years ago. He was released on bail recently. According to police, the three men stabbed Feroze twice in the abdomen and fled the scene, as he collapsed in a pool of blood. He was immediately rushed to Victoria Hospital.

Feroze identified one of the attackers as Apu, the younger brother of Sateesh. Appu and his associates attacked Feroze to avenge the murder of Sateesh, police said. Feroze is stated to be out of danger. Cottonpet police have registered a case.
