25 passenger, 6 express trains cancelled

Disruption in power supply owing to anti-Telangana stir hit train services, especially those bound to Tirupati, in Seemandhra region, but the railways ensured that the problem does not affect its all India operations, reports DHNS from Hyderabad. 

“As a precautionary measure and to ensure continuous supply of power with adequate voltage to haul Express Trains in case of possible shortfall in power supply, the movements of goods trains in some sections have been temporarily curtailed. Also, 25 passenger trains and 6 express trains have been cancelled and 5 passenger Trains have been partially cancelled, many of which are for the purpose of rake balancing,” the railways informed.
