JOIN USAloysius Institute of Computer Sciences is offering courses like MCA, MSc (Bioinformatics) and MS (Software Technology).
According to a press release, AICS has a MoU with Infosys Technologies Ltd for the programme Campus Connect Foundation Programme and soft skills programme. It is the first college in Karnataka to register for this programme and has the success rate 100 per cent. The deprtment also has MoU with EMC for the Proven Professional in Data Storage Technologies and Robosoft Technologies. The campus for the Management and IT programmes are situated at Kotekar Beeri in Ullal.
PhD awarded
Mangalore University has conferred PhD degree to Manohar Joshi for his thesis entitled ‘Studies on sayanobacteria in some of the aquatic systems of Western Ghats with special reference to Coastal Regions of DK and Udupi districts.’ He prepared his thesis under the guidance of Bio Scicence Professor Dr M Rajashekar.
