Man crashes car into parked vehicles

Three cars and two two-wheelers were damaged in an accident on the MG Road-St Mark’s Road junction on Thursday evening. 

According to police, the accident was caused by Deepak, 21, who had taken his father’s Maruthi Swift car out for a drive without permission. 

He was on his way home when his father called him and demanded to know why he was driving the car. Nervous, and distracted by the phone while driving, Deepak sped into a line of parked vehicles, colliding with two cars and two-wheelers parked by the side of the road, police said.Nobody was injured in the accident as the vehicles were empty. 

Deepak was not hurt. There has been no complaint as regards the accident, police added.
