JOIN USReligious fervour and gaiety marked special rituals at Balamuri Agashthyeshwara and Kanva Muneeshwara Temples near Napoklu on the occasion of Thula Sankramana and to mark the beginning of the annual fair on Friday.
As per the ritual, special prayers were held in two temples, on the next day of Cauvery Theerthodhbhava.
Devotees lined up in temples to take part in the special rituals and also took holy dips in River Cauvery.
Special poojas were offered by the devotees who came from Balamuri, Moornadu, Parane, Betri, Hoddoor, Napoklu, Kondangeri and various other places.
Mass feeding was arranged in the afternoon for four thousand devotees by Bollachettira Muthanna and brothers.
Temple Administrative Committee President Kongiranda Sadhu Thammaiah and members were present.
