JOIN USSpeaking after inaugurating the unit, Chief Whip of the State Government D N Jeevaraj said that the unit will have no power shortage crisis since it is located within the town limits. Hence, members of the SHGs should make use of the opportunity properly to increase the production, he said adding that the allowance from the government will be released for the unit for the first two months.
Zilla panchayat member P J Antony said that the new unit will help in checking the migration of human resources from villages. The unit will also help women to empower themselves, he added.
Tauk panchayat vice-president Mallika Naveen, member Sumathi Achar, Nagalapura gram panchayat president Raghavendra, gram panchayat vice-president Jose, members Jayakara, Jayamma, Ammayyamma, Vijayakumar, Arjun Garments proprietor Vijayakuar and Nagaraj were present.
