Public stage stir, demand bus service

Passengers and students stopped all the buses to Madikeri-Mysore at 9 am. They urged the KSRTC to introduce time to time buses between Kushalnagar and Madikeri.

Some of the buses which were plying between Kushalnagar-Madikeri have been stopped, the protestors said. Owing to lack of bus service, the office-goers are finding it difficult to reach their workstation on time. Though the department was informed of the irregular services, nothing has been taken so far. In spite of having bus pass, owing to the lack of buses, the passengers were forced to ply in provate buses paying daily. This is an economic burden on us, said students.  There are several buses to Mysore. Howeever, very few buses to Madikeri in spite of demand, they added.
