* Growth in average asset per minister was 665 pc from 2004 to 2008 and growth of assets per MLA was 364 pc during the same period.

*Party-wise average assets: Rs 9.55 crore for Congress (70 MLAs analysed), Rs 4.33 crore for JD-S (26 MLAs analysed), Rs 4.35 crore BJP (112 MLAs analysed) and Rs 1.48 crore for independent MLAs (six MLAs analysed).

*R Varthur Prakash with assets worth Rs 2 lakh has the lowest assets among all ministers.
