<p>A video apparently showing a Saudi national mercilessly beating an Asian man after accusing him of talking to his wife has triggered public anger, forcing Saudi Arabia's Human Rights Commission to probe the matter.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The Saudi man, who has not been named, accused the victim of talking to his wife and slapped him before attacking with a belt, the Al-Arabiya reported today.<br /><br />The video shows the Asian victim in an orange dress with a swollen eye pleading repeatedly to the Saudi man, who ignored the plea and continued beating him brutally.<br /><br />"The beating has led the Saudi's human rights authority to receive multiple complaints by viewers calling for the perpetrator to be punished," its spokesperson Ibrahim al-Shadi said.<br /><br />Shadi said the beating was a flagrant violation of the victim's rights to safety and dignity.<br />"The act also flouted rules set by Islamic Sharia," he was quoted as saying by the Al-Arabiya.<br /><br />Shadi said that regardless of why the man was allegedly assaulted, the perpetrator's actions did not abide by state- enforced rules on the protection of human rights.</p>
