“It’s different and the audience can expect an all-in-all family-cum-romantic entertainer,” Gunakumar told Metrolife.

Starring Ramesh Aravind, Ramanita Chaudhari and Suma Guha in the lead, the romantic entertainer is being shot at a bookstore in the City. There was never a dull moment during the shoot, say the cast. Ramesh who has strode into acting after a stint as a director dubs his experience as, “a paid holiday. One that is hard to forget.” “Since I have taken time off from directing, I am getting to know my co-stars and enjoying interacting with them between shoots,” he says.

Armed with a laptop, Ramesh says, “I play a rich, sophisticated man who owns a bookstore, so the laptop, in that sense, is an inseparable part of me.” So has this made him more tech- savvy? “Well I try to be as updated as I can but I stay off networking sites,” he explains.

Making her debut in Kannada movies, Suma says she has never been made to feel so warm. “The crew call me the ‘spice girl’ because I play the spicy element in the movie,” says Suma, a voracious reader. It’s music for Ramanita, who plays the love interest for Ramesh. “It keeps me calm and helps me get ready for the shot,” she says.

Having done over five movies in Kannada, Ramanita observes that people on the sets are helpful and learning the language hasn’t been a problem. “I have picked up the language and able to communicate things more easily. The crew are thorough professionals,” says Ramanita.  The shooting of Preetiyinda Ramesh will conclude by the end of the month.
