Cadence says its focus is on verification

Cadence President and CEO Lip-Bu Tan said “There is need for verification as more functionalities are getting packed into System-on-a-Chip.”

“There are lot of features that come together on a chip such as audio, video, GPS and internet. Verification would help solution providers improve quality and have better time to market,” he said.
