<p>The Byatarayanapura police on Monday claimed to have solved the murder case of a youth by arresting four persons. <br /><br /></p>.<p>According to the police, Chetan, 24, a resident of JP Nagar and a private firm employee was in love with Deepika (name changed). <br /><br />Santosh, a family friend, had urged Deepika’s mother to marry her off with him (Santosh). <br /><br />He allegedly hatched a conspiracy to eliminate Chetan, after he learnt about the marriage plans of Chetan and Deepika.<br /><br />According to the police, Santosh and his associate abducted Chetan from Mysore Road on December 23 and murdered him at Srirangapatna.<br /><br />Chetan’s family members lodged a missing complaint as he did not return from his workplace. The police collected crucial details based on Chetan’s cell phone call records and arrested the four. <br /><br />The police did not disclose the names of the other three arrested.<br /></p>
