<p>Vignesh too in last four</p>.<p>Karnataka’s dominance in the KTPPA-AITA National Series under-16 tennis championship at the KSLTA stadium was all too evident as three from the host State made it to the semifinal stage here on Thursday.</p>.<p>In the boys’ section, top seed C Vasisht put aside a meek challenge from Haryana’s Yugal Bansal 7-5, 6-2. Eighth seed Vignesh Subramanya scored a 6-2, 6-1 his win over Delhi’s Shramay Dhawan.</p>.<p>Vasisht will take on Andhra Pradesh’s PC Anirudh and Vignesh will face off with Uttarakhand’s Mayuk Rawat in the last-four stage. </p>.<p>In the girls’ category, S Soha was the only one from Karnataka who advanced to the next stage.</p>.<p>Soha was pushed a little by State-mate Nikita Pinto but the National School Games champion possessed too much of an arsenal for Nikita to make a match out of. Soha, who won 6-2, 5-7, 6-2, will take on R Abinikka in the semis. Shivani Manjanna failed to qualify for the next round after her challenge fell flat on its face against Tamil Nadu’s Rishika Ravi.
