Sharath grabs two medals

Bangalorean wins 100M breastroke gold, 400M freestyle silver

 
Sharath clocked one minute 21.39 seconds to clinch the men’s 100M breaststroke gold in the SB-8 class. Later, he pocketed a silver in the 400M freestyle, clocking 5:32.36.
India’s Athens gold medallist Davender Jhajhria won the javelin throw at the Sree Kanteerava stadium. The Rajasthan athlete threw the javelin to a distance of 57.09 metres to finish first while his team-mate Vinod Kumar claimed the bronze (45.90).
