She is a self-made woman and has been following her dream of becoming
a painter since a very young age. Sandhaya R Vaish, a young and aspiring artist, who loves to capture nature through her brush and colours, recently organised a group exhibition in the Capital.

Her artworks were all about relationships formed by humans with the nature. As she said, “My paintings are just about the beauty of nature, I just love capturing it on my canvas. They are happy and colourful paintings.”

The exhibition depicted around 45 oil and acrylic artworks of Sandhaya, Arup K Biswas, Dalip Chandolia, Sanjay Sabran Tiwari and Kuldeep Singh Bhadooriya. And everyone had a different theme to explore.

If Sandhaya showed her love for nature through her paintings, Sanjay depicted problems faced by women and the current political scenario through his artworks. Further explaining her paintings, the nature lover, said, “I have never got any formal training for learning paintings, everything is self-taught.

My dedication and wanting to prove myself in this competitive world, I have managed to come up till here. And along with me, I support and encourage young and budding artists too by letting them participate in my shows.”

Another painter, Sanjay, added, “Through my paintings I focused on the daily issues faced by women in the City and also highlighted the political scenario of our country.” Other beautiful paintings included some pencil sketches by Dalip which showed various Indian gods and goddesses, from Lord Vishnu to goddess Kali in their various avatars.
The exhibition truely turned out to be a great experience for all art lovers.
