WagonR makes giant strides, sales cross 13 lakh units

Maruti Suzuki , which launched its bestseller car WagonR in the year 1999 said that it has sold 13 lakhs units of the car in India alone so far. WagonR continues to be among the top five selling models for the last five years. The car has an obvious appeal to the corporate elite, thanks to its minimalist design and sheer practicality.

The company has also introduced many upgrades over the years to keep its audience completely engaged. For instance, a re-branding exercise was carried out to title the WagonR as the `Blue eyed boy`, which rendered unique identity to the WagonR in its segment. In keeping with tradition, Maruti Suzuki has launched all new exclusive limited edition – Madhavan Signature Edition WagonR. The WagonR boasts of 12 vary smart feature among which are the signature art leather seats, rear parking sensor with digital display and many more such refined feature. 

To increase its audience base, the company has lunched the all new ‘Stingray’ The flamboyant and youthful design cues seen on this car appeals to the younger generation. The bold front fascia, sporty side skirting, and stylish rear spoiler adds to the sporty appearance. The all black ambience with premium upholstery lends richness and sophistication to the interiors.

Stingray’s blue-themed instrument cluster makes for a vibrant décor and a peppy K10 engine that gives you an unmatched driving experience that the segment has to offer, the company said.
