Deepa Sannidhi may have completed only a handful of projects but she has already worked with some of the biggest names in the Kannada film industry.

And she says that she is in no hurry to increase this number. What’s more, Deepa also has a couple of more offers coming her way from the Tamil film industry.
She confesses that she wants to pick and choose her projects rather than grab anything that comes her way.

I’ve worked thus far are similar. I don’t want to compromise on the quality and accept projects just for the sake of it. Every new project is a learning experience. I am content doing one project at a time,” she says.

Her latest project, Endendu Ninagagi, is almost ready for release.
The audio for the movie has hit the market and Deepa thinks the peppy
yet meaningful lyrics will become popular with the people, “There were at least two songs from each of my previous projects that have become super hits. And I hope the same for this one as well,” adds Deepa.

The movie is a remake of the Tamil movie Engaeyum Eppothum. Deepa plays the character of an arrogant girl who thinks she can get everything done with her commandeering nature.

“The actress, who essayed the role in the original script, did a great job and I knew that my performance would be compared to the original
version. It was a challenge for me to live up to that expectation but I am thrilled with the outcome,” states Deepa. She states that her character undergoes a dramatic change when a man enters her life, “Slowly but steadily, he changes her character and she tones down,” she reasons.

After the completion of this project, Deepa will start working in the Tamil remake of Lucia. She says that she can’t speak Tamil but makes an effort to communicate with
people in Tamil, “Learning languages is a hard but  enjoyable process.

I’ve picked up bits and pieces of Tamil and make it a point to talk in Tamil as much as possible,” she shares.

For a heroine, Deepa is on the taller side but she feels that her height has never come in the way of her getting projects.

“I’ve always wanted to be tall. If I could, I would love to grow taller. I’ve seen so many odd pairs in films and now with advancement of technology, I don’t think height
is an issue at all,” she sums up.
